Perla is one of twelve Birthstone Fairies. She is the fairy of June's birthstone: the pearl. A pearl is a beautiful stone formed inside an oyster shell - they can be white or black. Like the pearl, Perla has many moods and colors. She loves to swim and play games. Perla is a nixie, a water fairy - she loves to dress up in gowns of sea foam and treasure.
