 Charlie
and Lola are the prime characters from a series of kids picture books by Lauren
Child, get Lola dressed.
The
stories are all narrated by seven year-old Charlie, and center on the tricks of
his spirited four year old sister, Lola. The books as well as the TV serie also
emphasize the relationship between closely-aged siblings.
The
first "Charlie and Lola" book, “I Will Not Ever Never Eat a Tomato”
that was accessible in 2001 won the prominent Kate Greenaway Medal. The personality
of Lola was based upon an curious little girl whom Lauren Child encountered on
a traintrip in Denmark.
